What is a power quality analyzer?
Power quality analyzer
Power Quality, in a general sense, refers to high-quality power supply, including voltage quality, current quality, power supply quality, and power quality.
LCT-FB602 type portable power quality analysis, the analyzer adopts management background (currently popular and portable tablet or notebook computer) + acquisition front-end mode (similar to Fluke 1760 mode). The collection front end adopts the black box design of the high-speed DSP digital processor, without excessive operation and complicated display, so the calculation speed is fast, the reliability is good, the anti-interference is strong, the wiring does not need to be disassembled, and the operation is convenient and quick.
The management background can use the open source android operating system tablet for measurement and data management, which is more convenient to operate; or configure a laptop with wifi module, which is based on the WINDOWS platform, directly performs measurement and data management, and completes data statistics and analysis And printing and other operations. High-performance wifi wireless high-speed connection is used between the front end and the back end (tablet or laptop), which can realize long-distance observation and control, safe and free, and embodies the people-oriented design concept.
It can be defined as: voltage, current, or frequency deviation that causes electrical equipment to malfunction or fail to work normally, and its content includes frequency deviation, voltage deviation, voltage fluctuation and flicker, three-phase unbalance, temporary or transient overvoltage, Waveform distortion (harmonics), voltage sags, interruptions, swells, and power supply continuity, etc. In modern power systems, voltage sags and interruptions have become important power quality issues.
Power Quality Analyzer is a special portable product for testing and analyzing the quality of power grid operation. It can provide harmonic analysis and power quality analysis in power operation, and can perform long-term data collection and monitoring on power grid operation. At the same time, it is equipped with power quality data analysis software to perform various analyses on the measurement data uploaded to the computer.

The role of power quality analyzer
LinkedIn In a general sense, power quality refers to high-quality power supply. However, because people look at the problem from different perspectives, so far, there are still different understandings of the technical meaning of power quality, and an accurate and unified definition cannot be given.
For a long time, the concept of power quality and power supply reliability are almost the same. How to describe the interaction and influence of power supply and power consumption, and give the corresponding technical definition is still a problem that people continue to explore. Regardless of the definition of power quality, the connotation of power quality should include the following aspects. A general consensus has been reached to solve power quality test equipment.
Voltage quality: The deviation between the actual voltage and the ideal voltage is given to reflect whether the power allocated by the power supply department to the user is qualified. Voltage quality usually includes voltage deviation, voltage frequency deviation, voltage imbalance, electromagnetic transient phenomena, voltage fluctuations and flicker, short-term voltage changes, voltage harmonics, voltage interharmonics, voltage gaps, undervoltages, overvoltages, etc.
Current quality: Current quality is closely related to voltage quality. In order to improve the transmission efficiency of electric energy, in addition to requiring the user to draw a single-frequency sine wave, the current waveform should also be kept the same as the supply voltage. Current quality usually includes current harmonics, interharmonics, current phase lead and lag, noise, etc. Research on current quality can help improve the power quality of the power grid and reduce line losses, but it cannot summarize most of the quality problems caused by voltage, and the latter are often not always caused by electricity.

Power supply quality: It includes two parts: technical meaning and non-technical meaning. The technical meaning includes voltage quality and power supply reliability; non-technical meaning refers to the quality of service, including the response speed of the technical power supply department to user complaints and complaints, and the transparency of electricity prices.
Power consumption quality: Power consumption quality reflects the responsibilities and obligations of the interaction and influence of both parties, including technical and non-technical meanings. The technical meaning includes the impact and requirements on the power quality technical indicators of the power system. Non-technical meaning refers to the fulfillment quality of electricity responsibilities and obligations, such as whether users pay electricity fees on time and in full.
At present, although domestic and foreign countries have reached a consensus on the use of the term power quality and its connotation, there has not yet been a unified consensus on the exact definition of power quality. Several definitions that are widely used are as follows:
(1) The concept of qualified power quality means that the supply of power to sensitive equipment and the grounding system provided are suitable for the normal operation of the equipment. This definition comes from the technical definition of power quality (power quality) given by the IEEE Standardization Coordination Committee.
(2) Power quality refers to the physical characteristics of a power supply device that does not interrupt and does not interfere with the use of electricity by users under normal working conditions. This definition comes from the IEC (1000-2-2/4) standard. According to this definition, in addition to guaranteeing the sinusoidal waveform at rated voltage and rated power, modern power quality also includes frequency deviation, voltage deviation, voltage fluctuation and flicker, three-phase balance, waveform distortion, and all voltage transients, such as Impulse pulse, voltage drop, instantaneous interruption and power supply continuity, etc. This definition includes the causes and consequences of power quality problems, as well as the reliability of power supply.
(3) The definition of power quality refers to the characteristics of the voltage at a specified point in the power system. These characteristics can be evaluated based on predetermined benchmarks and technical parameters. This definition is given by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). According to this definition, it can be considered that power quality is voltage quality, and qualified power quality should be a sine wave voltage with a constant frequency and a constant amplitude and continuous power supply.
