Software Structure of VisionPro

VisionPro provides an easy-to-use prototype, development and application. In the interactive layer, the VisionProQuickStart prototype environment accelerates the development of powerful machine vision systems through a series of drag and drop tools. Users can quickly define the connections between tools, test tool behavior, and effective running parameters. ActiveX controls can be accessed through QuickStart or Visual Basic. Therefore, in the program layer, prototype applications can be enhanced by Visual Basic or Visual C++ to develop personalized solutions. This performance will greatly shorten the development time of the application system. The structure of VisionPro allows users to start developing their application systems at any level of QuickStart, ActiveX, or COM objects.

Cognex announced the launch of VisionPro #7.0 machine vision software. VisionPro 7.0 introduces the new concept Inspection Designer () which can simplify the development of inspection applications and field maintenance. VisionPro 7.0 also adds the industry's best barcode reading tool, 1DMax', optimized for omni-directional and difficult-to-read one-dimensional barcodes, as well as several new tools and reader enhancements.

The introduction of Inspection Designer, first used in general inspection applications, provides visual system integrators and end users with functions that simplify the specification, development and maintenance of inspection applications. Inspection Designer has three main advantages:

Definition of defect. A new image ranking utility enables integrators and end users to easily assess product image ranking and specify different defect types in each image. The image ranking utility creates a graded image library for use in the next steps.

Verify. Verification tools can help developers quickly confirm that the visual system is getting the desired results by comparing the detection results of hundreds or even thousands of preserved and graded images.

On-site maintenance. The validation tool also allows end users to retest the validation tool against the graded image database at any time to confirm that the factory workshop adjustment will not affect the previous detection application. It also allows users to add new images to the graded workpiece library.

"The introduction of Inspection Designer provides a common communication tool for system integrators and their end users because it specifies the normal criteria for defining good and bad artifacts," said Markku Jaaskelainen, manager of visual software business. "It can easily define a project and help ensure that integrators and end users reach consensus at the beginning of the project."

The software tool 1DMax is used to deal with all-round and difficult-to-read barcode. 1DMax can read barcodes that cannot be read by other software, including codes with mirror reflection, damage, background noise and/or rotation.

Supports the use of MVS-8602e Camera Link < board card in Microsoft < Windows < 764 bit operating system, which can be read quickly and needs a large amount of time.
