State Grid Corporation of China is responsible for implementing the National Smart Grid Management IoT Application Demonstration Project in the field of smart grids.
The Smart Grid Management IoT Application Demonstration Project is led by the Ministry of Science and Technology (Smart Grid Ministry) of the State Grid Corporation of China. The Beijing Branch Intelligent Manufacturing Internet of Things Technology Center is the technical support unit for the demonstration project. Coordination, etc. Nine provincial companies, such as Shandong, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Fujian, Jiangxi, Liaoning, Gansu, and Ningxia, as the implementing units, jointly participate in the construction of the demonstration project.
The smart grid management IoT application demonstration project focuses on the precise management of power transmission, transmission, transformation, distribution, and use, and the integrated management and control of power grid equipment. The construction content covers power transmission equipment and line condition monitoring systems, and the transmission line is unmanned. Machine intelligent inspection system, distributed power generation and micro-grid access control, electric vehicle charging and replacing facilities and operation management systems, smart communities / buildings, and smart parks in six areas. The project is scheduled to be completed in December 2013.
