1. Deployment and configuration of server MES system
Here, it is necessary to negotiate whether the server should propose the minimum configuration and then purchase it by Party A, or it should be provided directly by Party B, or be directly deployed on Party A's existing computer room server. Under normal circumstances, if Party A's computer room construction is relatively complete and the IT department is more professional, it will be deployed in a relatively isolated server environment. If you need to buy it, it is recommended that Party A buy it. If Party A buys, on the one hand, they may have their own cooperative suppliers, they will be more convinced in terms of quality, and they will also consider the installation of the computer room. If Party B purchases, it may consider other non-main factors such as cost more. Party B needs to provide a server deployment list, such as open ports, software to be deployed and indicate whether the nature of the MES software is open source or need to pay, if paid, how much does it cost and how to pay it, is it a one-time buyout or annual fee. After Party A's review, it can be deployed.
2. MES system network environment construction and configuration
Generally, it is outsourced to local third parties for implementation or with the help of Party A's existing network system. If it is not necessary, Party B should not directly carry out network construction. One is the long distance, which is inconvenient for construction and inconvenient for later maintenance. Of course, if the customer is within 2 hours of your company’s drive, you can also consider it, otherwise it is more appropriate to outsource. .
3. MES field hardware deployment and configuration
Before this construction, you need to understand the requirements of Party A’s on-site construction, such as construction time restrictions, construction personnel and construction qualification requirements. The most important thing is that the construction acceptance standards must be understood, such as wiring when wiring The tube is still a wireway, and so on. Only after understanding this, can construction be carried out or simply be compiled into construction standards and sent to outsourced third parties as information to avoid rework. It not only wastes time and energy, affects the project schedule, but also easily complains with Party A and affects the relationship.
During construction, to determine the deployment location of MES hardware with Party A, first of all, we should adhere to the principle of not interfering with the normal work of the workshop as much as possible, and first put forward our own suggestions. Where there are doubts, you need to consult with Party A. If you need to carry out construction on the customer's key equipment, such as the data collector needs to communicate with high-precision pipe equipment, then do not construct on its equipment first, so as not to interfere with normal production activities or damage the accuracy of the equipment. After discussion and negotiation, Party A shall provide the equipment data interface or confirm the construction method and carry out the construction with the cooperation of its equipment maintenance personnel.
4. Joint debugging and basic data maintenance
After the MES software and hardware are deployed and installed, test it internally, and simulate the data transmission and reception of each node according to the business process to see whether the MES system is operating normally, whether the network delay is within the tolerance, whether the signal interference is strong, and whether the terminal equipment responds in a timely manner. If there is no problem, you can notify Party A to configure basic data together. Regarding the basic data, the template must be sent to Party A in advance to allow time for preparation. When the project of Party B has entered the basic data, it will not be in a hurry to affect the normal progress. Of course, according to the project situation, it is also possible to carry out the MES system entry work after the MES system training (requires the issuance of entry manuals).
5. MES system training and user manual
Formal training (that is, sense of ritual) must be conducted, and it cannot be finished at random. It must be standardized content training in a standard place and evaluation of the training results, so that the employees of Party A can be kept in mind Paying attention to this matter can also satisfy the leadership of Party A and let them understand the project progress and project quality. At the same time, for Party B, this is also a very important node, which can not only understand the training status of employees, but also save it as very important project data.
6. MES trial operation and acceptance
Under the general project scale, if the MES system is to be tested for about 2 weeks, it is necessary to pay attention to the usage. If there are no abnormalities or minor problems, deal with it in time, and then wait another week to start asking about the results of the trial operation. Tune in, and ask if acceptance can be initiated. From the start to the official start of acceptance, Party A needs a preparation period of about 4-8 days (downward contact with the use department and upward docking leader). During the preparation period, it is necessary to summarize the use of the MES system of each department, especially the problem. Both parties need to solve the problem first, whether it is in the process or the system itself. After the solution is completed, it can be ready for formal acceptance. Finally, we will work together with Party A to conduct acceptance according to the field research report at the beginning of the project, from functional items to business processes, from department users to department heads, and acceptance is required to sign, if not, you need to explain the reason Or question.
