Lime launched the IN 1000-S sensor, which can isolate and measure 1000A DC, AC and pulse currents
Lime broadened the range of high-precision sensors and introduced the new product IN 1000-S, which has no insertion loss and can isolate and measure 1000A DC, AC and pulse currents. Lime has perfected the fluxgate technology and launched 2000A, a product of this series last year.
The temperature range of traditional 1000A high-precision sensor is usually +10 to +40 or +50°C. IN 1000-S broadens its temperature range to -40 to +85°C, making it applicable to a wider range of applications, not limited to experiments These applications include: traditional industrial application testers, medical equipment (for example, MRI, proton therapy, etc.), high-precision motor controllers, and metering equipment.
Lime uses innovative technology on this new sensor to process the signal in the digital field. The new fluxgate technology architecture eliminates the fluxgate drive frequency ripple, resulting in a compact structure, high accuracy in a wide temperature range and compared to the previous generation Sensor with lower noise level.
Processing signals in the digital domain can completely eliminate the temperature effect, interference and the influence of power supply voltage changes after analog to digital processing, and improve the zero point and zero drift.
By using the DSP digital signal processor, the interference or ripple in the fluxgate drive signal at a fixed frequency is reduced, and the high-frequency harmonics are also reduced.
The remaining interference can be eliminated by the ripple compensation coil, and the amplitude and phase of this coil can be adjusted by the calibration of each sensor.
After calibration, in the full temperature range of -40 OC to 85 OC, the sensor output in the full range, the remaining ripple peak-to-peak value is less than 34ppm.
These innovations make the IN 1000-S have excellent performance in a widened temperature range: extremely high accuracy in the full temperature range, linearity better than 3ppm and low zero drift of 19.5ppm.
IN 1000-S is designed with +/-15 V DC power supply and can accommodate a circular primary conductor with a diameter of 38.2mm. In addition to the normal current output, the sensor also provides additional output status indications (high-level or low-level output) and external LEDs for displaying normal working status.
A product with the same performance usually consists of a measuring probe and a signal processing circuit. However, this new product provides an all-in-one compact structure that allows a variety of panel installation methods (planar or vertical)
The sensor has passed CE and enjoys a five-year Lime warranty.
