It is reported that the specific objectives of Shanghai Intelligent Manufacturing Action Plan (2019-2021) are as follows:

After the sustained advance in the early stage, the development system of Intelligent Manufacturing in Shanghai has basically formed and achieved phased results. Fourteen state-level intelligent factories and 60 city-level intelligent factories have been selected in the key fields of automobile, high-end equipment, aerospace, marine engineering and electronic information.

In the next stage, Shanghai will implement the "Six Key Actions" of Intelligent Manufacturing:

First, industrial innovation breakthroughs. We will continue to implement the action of mending shortcomings in key areas, break through a batch of key technical equipment and core components, conquer a batch of common technologies and software for intelligent manufacturing, cultivate and expand a batch of suppliers of solutions for intelligent manufacturing systems, and achieve higher-end hardware, more intelligent software and more collaborative integration.

Second, the promotion of Intelligent Manufacturing in key industries. Promote the intelligent transformation and new mode application of automotive, electronic information, civil aviation, biomedicine, high-end equipment, green chemical industry and new materials industries, promote the clustering of superior industries, scale of emerging industries, high-end of characteristic industries, and build a strong competitive industrial cluster.
