10 package representations of chip resistor power and size
SMD resistors are currently in common packages with 10 types of SMD packages such as 01005, 0201, 0420, 0603, 0805, 1206, 1210, 1812, 2010, 2512, etc. At the same time, SMD resistors are also represented by two size codes. One type of chip resistor size code is coded by EIA (Electronic Industries Association of America), and the first two digits and last two digits of another type of chip resistor respectively indicate the length and width of the resistor, in inches. For example: the 0603 package we often say refers to the imperial code. The other 1608 is a metric code, which is also represented by a 4-digit number, and its unit is millimeters to indicate the chip resistance.
10 kinds of package representations and corresponding power of SMD resistors. When we work, we often make mistakes about these models and sizes of SMD resistors. We can make inquiries faster and more convenient for customers. To this end, we formulate the relationship between the imperial and metric system of the chip resistor package and the detailed size and corresponding power into a table for query.
MICROHM chip resistor series 0105/ 0210/ 0402/ 0603/ 0805/ 1206/ 1210/ 1812/ 2010/ 2512 are currently widely used in various transformers, printer equipment, servo motherboards, communications, and consumer electronics products.
