The LED light source has high brightness, good controllability, and has the advantages of adjustment, long life, and environmental protection. Therefore, most of the bright products now use LED as a light source, but because it is a light signal, it cannot be detected by conventional electrical inspection. However, it is necessary to use artificial eyes to make judgments based on its light emitting state and color. This detection method is prone to miss or misdetection due to eye fatigue, which ultimately results in product quality cannot be guaranteed.

Carding of intelligent visual inspection scheme
The MV-HS color industrial camera independently developed and manufactured by VisionSmart is used to obtain images in color BMP format. The image contains the color information of the three channels R, G, and B. With the preprocessing algorithms of VisionBank SVS machine vision software, The images of the three colors are extracted, and "independent" analysis is performed to determine whether the corresponding color of the lamp beads is emitting light and whether the light intensity meets the requirements.

As shown in the figure above, with the help of VisionBank SVS intelligent vision software, first analyze the brightness of the red channel of the LED panel image. It is found that the brightness value of the left area (the left-most green frame) is 6.4, and the brightness value of the right area is 55.5. It is initially determined that the red lamp beads in the left area are defective.

After analyzing the blue channel, the left and right areas are 121.3 and 117.7, respectively, indicating that the blue lamp beads of the LED lamp board have uniform brightness.

Finally, the green channel is analyzed. The left and right areas are 73 and 78.6, respectively, indicating that the green lamp beads of the LED lamp board have uniform brightness.

Note: One LED board is shot 3 times, and the brightness of the image of the 3 channels is detected. Three "image units" are set, and each image unit is individually set to determine the basis.
